New England Primer, 1826
Passed down through several generations in the family of Thomas Shepard Quarterman.
I would guess he got it from his father Edward William Quarterman
or his mother Adaline Way, but I don't know.
This edition is dated 1824, so it can't have been any earlier than Rev. Robert
Quarterman.
It's signed by H. B[R?]each, 1833; I don't know who that was.
I got it from Helen Quarterman.
Scanned by Gretchen Quarterman.

A few words and lines
Read: salute uncommon nonconformity.
Our weakness and inabilities break not the bond of our duties.
Nightingales sing in time of Spring.
As runs the Glass, Man's life doth pass.
