Naming Conventions

Surnames

There are many Greek gods. Fortunately, they are traditionally grouped as Titans, Olympians, Muses, Fates, Furies, and the like, and I have used those traditional titles as surnames, which print in boldface. This makes the various gods easier to tell apart.

Epithets

Some gods, such as Pallas Athena, have traditional titles or epithets. Those, such as Pallas, I have treated as titles, which print before the main name.

Functions

Many gods, such as Ares, have specific functions or areas, such as War, which I have treated as occupations, which print after the main name.
