Re: Revolutionary soldiers from Midway




There are three Revolutionary War soldiers buried in the Midway Cemetery.  
Two have large stone markers added to their originals by the U.S. Congress.  
When that was done, however, those involved seemed to be unaware that William 
Way buried there, just to the left of the entrance under a large marble slab, 
was also a Revolutionary War soldier.  I placed a photo of this grave in my 
Way family history I published last year.  The source: The DAR's Bicentennial
