Iowa Quarterman (was Re: Revolutionary soldiers from Midway)


If I recall correctly, Aunt Jane once said Iowa Quarterman was the last
person buried in Midway Cemetery.  Her epitaph reads:

                         IOWA QUARTERMAN
                          July 13, 1853
                           Aug. 2 1947
                         CLAUDIUS MARION
                             SON OF
                        EDWARD QUARTERMAN
                          NOV. 4th 1850
                          OCT. 22, 1925
