Midway, early 1900s

Folks,

Our cousin Louis LeConte, descendant of the botanist Louis LeConte,
has made available some pictures his grandfather took of Midway,
sometime in the early 1900s:

As you can see there are some mysteries about them, such as when
were they taken, and what kind of automobile is that in the shadows.
