According to Stacy's daughter, a lot of the history that he wrote in his book was because they were family and Elizabeth was part of his family.  Since she was one of my ancestors, my first William Baker, showing up in Stacy's book in South Carolina has been said that he was not a descendant of Thomas Baker, if Elizabeth was it stands to reason that William Baker, known as the elder was also.Myrtle Joyce Longcoy
