I am new to this, so hope I don't mess up !  John S. Quarterman kindly responded to my message as to whom Effie Quarterman was descended from - John Way Quarterman.   I am trying to connect up how General John Screven and a Quarterman were related and Effie Quarterman was a relative or descendant of General John Screven?
