Re: Emerson, Quartermans of Pennsylvania



I have seen in the same family children baptised Quarterman Quartermain
Caterman and one in particular Chorterman. In this instance at the time of
this baptism Margaret was not a popular name, the parents in this case were
John and Margaret. You have to look at all possible variations of surnames
as well as Christian names.
