for what its worth, my name is david hunter quarterman jr.my father the sr is from brunswick ga and his family lived there for some time.there is a series of books called georgias coastal plain which , as i recall from seeing them about 20 years ago, include direct quarterman relatives of his. i do not know the authors or publisher but they trace the history of ga from first recorded settlement.
